Every Sunday, 4Angles generates a weekly insight from your journal entries. Here's how it works — and why we built it this way.

Pattern Recognition, Not Surveillance

The algorithm runs entirely on your device. Your entries are never sent to a server for analysis. We use a local embedding model to identify themes and patterns.

What We Look For

• Emotional arcs — How your mood shifted through the week.
• Recurring themes — Topics that keep coming up.
• Cognitive patterns — Which SOAR perspectives you lean on.
• Blind spots — What you might be avoiding.

The insight isn't generated by AI — it's structured by an algorithm and written by you, through your own words.

Why Weekly?

Daily feedback is too noisy. Monthly is too distant. Weekly hits the sweet spot — enough data to see patterns, close enough to act on them.
