Summary: No Contact Is Self-Preservation

No contact isn't:

Punishment.

Mean.

Playing games.

It's:

Self-preservation.

Why It Works

You can't heal:

A wound:

You keep reopening.

Every interaction:

  • Resets your progress
  • Gives them power
  • Reopens the hurt
  • Keeps you stuck

No contact:

Lets it close.

What It Gives You

Space to Heal

Without:

Their voice:

In your head.

Clarity

Distance:

Shows you:

Reality.

Not:

The version:

You wanted to see.

Your Power Back

Every time:

You respond:

They have power:

Over:

  • Your emotions
  • Your day
  • Your healing

No contact:

Takes it back.

The Rules

  1. Block everything

    • Phone
    • Social media
    • Email
  2. No "one last message"

    • It never is
  3. No stalking their socials

    • Secondhand info is still contact
  4. Don't respond to breadcrumbs

    • They'll test you
  5. No closure conversations

    • You give that to yourself

It's Not Forever

Just:

Until you're healed.

Which might be:

Forever.

And that's okay.

About 4Angles: No contact isn't cruel—it's necessary. You can't heal while staying connected to what hurt you. Block, heal, move on.
